Get up early and watch the sun rise over the water, head off on the Great Ocean Walk, go surfing, enjoy a cafe latte in Apollo Bay or relax fishing at Marengo with your furry best friend by your side. After your day out, you can enjoy quiet, airconditioned comfort in one of our guest rooms or sit under the shade of a gumtree in our beautiful gardens, home to a wide variety of local birds.These are all close at hand when you stay at Marengo Beach Break, which is just three kilometres west of Apollo Bay along the splendid Great Ocean Road, and situated next to the Otway National Park.
Marengo Beach Break
We offer spacious, clean and comfortable open-plan guest rooms each with ensuite, private entrance and secure, dog-friendly courtyard. Each one accommodates up to two people and one dog (see below). Dogs are allowed off leash on nearby Marengo beach all year long.We provide a friendly service to help you enjoy your stay in the relaxing surroundings of Marengo.

Dog-friendly
Clean, quiet, house-trained dogs are welcome and allowed inside (some conditions do apply, click Terms & Conditions. We suggest you bring your dogs own clean bedding and bowl so they’ll feel more at home although we do provide beach towel and trampoline for them to sleep on.
Kitchen and dining out
Full kitchen and food are not provided, however, you are welcome to bring your own supplies or meander down to the cafes and restaurants in Apollo Bay - known for it’s fresh produce and locally-made specialities. A three minute drive or 30 minute walk along the beach or bike path will get you there.
Local gallery
The walls in all 3 guest rooms are decorated with photographic artwork created by Sherryn, who is a local landscape photographer. She has been capturing images of this beautiful part of the world for 6 years and has a gallery on the premises to view and/or purchase framed/unframed and canvas images. Sherryn also regularly sells her work at the Apollo Bay Foreshore Market which is held every Saturday morning (weather permitting).
